I am doing a series of upcoming talks on Awakening to our Oneness with Flowers in the Margaret Aylward Centre, beginning on the 14th of February, 2026. Please see below for more information.
Flowers can serve as a gateway to emotional depth and spiritual connection, supporting both human and ecological well-being.
Discover how flowers shape our world, cultures, and well-being in this five-session course, which draws on research in my book, Spirituality of Flowers: What Flowers Do For Us, and from neuroscience, psychology, sensory science, and ecology.
Each week, will combine short, research-informed talks with guided sensory practices and practical applications for daily life and professional contexts.
You don’t need any botanical knowledge or gardening experience, only curiosity and a willingness to observe.
The course will take place in the Margaret Aylward Centre, Glasnevin, Dublin, from 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday :

Hello, and thank you for visiting.
My name is Bríd Kennedy, an author, speaker and coach. I was a Regional Director with Concern Worldwide, an international non-government organisation. Since taking early retirement, I have been exploring my passion for flowers.
Across my website, you will learn more about me as a person, as well as the types of talks, workshops, and coaching I offer. You can also learn more about my book, which I am so thrilled to share, is now available to buy online.
My passion is to support people to look within, and discover their wisdom and joy so that they flourish in their one precious life.
Everything about Spirituality of Flowers: What Flowers Do For Us is rooted in exploring what awakens within us when we truly notice a flower, its scent, its colour, its shape, and the subtle changes it goes through in its life cycle.
Now, more than ever, I feel a deep awareness of how profoundly interconnected we are not just with one another, but with everything that exists: flowers, rocks, animals, trees, even galaxies. The wisdom of nature is always inviting us home.
This is the gift I share with you: an invitation to slow down, to notice, and to let flowers guide you back to yourself. It can be as simple as pausing to smell a flower, admire its form, or observe how it changes day by day. These small acts nourish the soul and gently remind us of who we are.
By caring for Mother Earth, we are caring for ourselves. And in caring for ourselves, we care for all life. Since launching my book, my work has evolved to include speaking engagements and workshops. Both coaching and public speaking share a common goal: to help people look within, awaken their potential, and live their lives with greater joy and peace. When we flourish inwardly, we ripple that goodness outward, and in doing so, we contribute to a more compassionate world and a healthier planet.
My website is here to support that journey—your journey. It’s a space for exploring, growing, and nurturing the person you are becoming, until you arrive at a place of deeper peace within.
I invite you to visit often, explore new offerings, request talks or workshops, join events, share your reflections, and seek coaching if it calls to you.
Together, we can live more fully, support each other, and create a more loving world by recognising and nurturing the beauty, love, and joy that already lives within us.
In Love and Light,
Bríd
